Hi! My name is Christi! I am a wife and mom of one. My son is 2 1/2 years old! I love being a wife and mommy and I feel blessed to be able to stay home with our son every day to help mold and shape him into a young gentleman!
That statement could not be more true for me! I know that I’m blessed and I know, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that I am doing exactly what I was meant to do in life! I know that being a wife and mom is what God created me for and I love it!
That being said, parenting is hard work! I want to take you on this successful, unsuccessful, amazing, chaotic, inspiring, frustrating journey with me!… if you’re brave enough to come along that is haha. I wouldn’t trade my life for anything in the world and I truly mean that.. but, a girl’s gotta vent sometimes, right? And brag during those sometimes seemingly rare moments when I do something right!!
Along with taking you on this journey of being a mommy to a 2 1/2 year old boy, I want to share some crafts I enjoy too! Some that turn out exactly how I envisioned and some that, well, didn’t. But regardless.. I love crafting!!!!! And one of my newest ventures is into the world of photography! (I am very new at this and I have no idea how long it will be something that I enjoy doing. Also, I’m learning as I go so I have no idea what I’m doing… consider yourself warned!).
Another journey I know many moms (and women in general) can relate to is that ever constant struggle to lose and/or maintain weight. Over a 28 month period I lost 60 lbs.! It wasn’t easy and I wasn’t always motivated or even trying to lose weight. And there were times when I lost a good amount of weight and gained half of it back. I’ll take you through my entire roller coaster ride in another post and also my daily struggle to maintain the weight that I am now.
My life is definitely not one that could pull millions of viewers in every week to watch excitedly as I succeed and fail, but it’s more than interesting enough for me and I think it’s something a lot of moms will be able to relate to! I also can’t wait to hear stories of your experiences too! Maybe we can learn some things from each other along the way… and craft too!!! There’s always time for crafting! 🙂
